From Our Own Experience

How secat follows the Clean Core path

“From 9,000 critical findings to under 800 – we know every step of this journey.”

When we wanted to certify our own product QPPD for the SAP Store, we subjected our codebase to a complete Clean Core review for the first time. The result was sobering: approximately 69,000 findings in total – of which nearly 9,000 were truly critical. We have walked this path ourselves – and continue to do so. This makes us a partner who not only provides theoretical advice, but speaks from lived experience.

Classification Instead of Panic

Not every finding is equal. We prioritized, analyzed automatically, and focused on the truly critical blocks.

Released Objects Instead of Custom Code

Wherever possible, we replaced proprietary solutions with SAP-compliant alternatives and released APIs.

SAP GUI → UI5

The biggest challenge: SAP GUI, ALV Tree, and ALV Grid deeply embedded in legacy code. We systematically replaced them with UI5 – and improved the user experience in the process.

Today, QPPD stands at under 800 remaining findings – we continue to work on this consistently. What we have learned along this journey, we bring directly into our customer projects.

We know what it feels like to be in the middle of it. And we know how to get out.
